Googles AI model Gemini is reaching large milestones every passing day. It has beaten a video game which is almost 29 years old.
Sundar Pichai the CEO of Google posted on X about the triumph for news. Where he explains that Gemini 2.5 pro cross milestone. The AI board has been done the video game Pokémon blue.
Apparently, there is a live stream with Gemini where the Gemini software place Pokémon. The live stream was created by a 30 year old joel Z. Who is a soft engineer working on his own. He is not working with Google. Whatever the case the executives are still praising his efforts because he used their own AI software.
According to the product lead for Google Logan Kilpatrick of AI studio claims that last one Gemini was making great progress with the Pokémon blue. It was winning badges one after the other. Last month the Gemini was on its fifth batch which means it only has three more to go.
Now in certain news, the AI software has achieved it and beaten Pokémon blue. Apparently there is another game Pokémon red which another AI software Claude is trying to master. But it is unable to do so yet. The software is set to achieve a major programming boost where it will achieve many milestones. But it was unable to beat the Pokémon red.
Which means that Google’s Gemini is better than any other AI software. According to Joel both AI software are completely different. These are built on different approaches and information.
Both models cannot play the game on their own. While playing the game, the software developer was sure that Gemini did not cheat at all. However, there were some other interventions that helped the AI model in winning the game.
These interventions are for Geminis on well-being. Because while playing the game, the AI model needs the same making on its own. That is why after the intervention the model started making its own decisions while playing the game.
The only thing that was working with Gemini was it needed to grant in the rocket button which was just a book on Pokémon yellow.
Apparently, the Gemini please Pokémon blue is still running. And the software is making decisions on its own regularly.
Along with playing the game, the AI model is developing its skills with every passing day. Moreover, the model is receiving the latest updates.
